The opening 5-Star Resort “L’Affetto sul Lago di Garda” belonging to the international group “Hirmer Hospitality” is located in Salò on a verdant hillside overlooking the amazing Lake Garda.
This prestigious Hotel houses 99 guest rooms and suites and is provided with 2 Restaurants, 1 Pizzeria, 2 Bars, a Meeting room, 1 indoor and 2 outdoor swimming pools and an innovative Wellness Center & SPA of 2,000 square meters.
The Bar Manager is responsible for managing all the operations of the 2 Bars to deliver an excellent experience to Guests while training the staff in compliance with the Resort budgeted guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities
Welcoming and acknowledging VIP and habitué Guests according to the Resort standards
Developing innovative menus with other members of Food and Beverage Department
Managing, training and developing the Bar and Pool Bar’s teams
Implementing departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets and policies
Sharing, training and supervising the Bar and Pool Bar’s teams about standards and procedures
Driving the Bars´ sales to maximize budgeted revenue, stimulating the teams´ members to increase sales and revenue
Continuous check of the Guests´ satisfaction stimulating the teams on continuous improvement
Briefing the teams with Jour fixes and team building with great passion
Guaranteeing that all the staff complies with Resort security procedures, fire regulations and all health and safety legislations
Training the teams to anticipate and address Guests’ needs not only to bar tables but also to SPA, rooms and suites
Supervising the deliveries and restocks of flatware, food, ice and paper supplies
Guaranteeing the security of liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets and storage areas
Assuring professional and clean uniform and personal appearance of all the Bars´ Teams
Keeping confidentiality of Guests´ information
Complying with the safety and security procedures
Signaling timely eventual accidents and injuries to HR and General Manager
Leading the Bars´ teams, guaranteeing that every order matches all the HACCP and Hotel standards
Synergical collaboration with the Managers of SPA, Front Office, Restaurants and other Departments
Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager
Hotel School diploma with high grade or a comparable training as a bartender
Minimum 3 years work experience preferably at a high-level Restaurant/Hotel in the same role
Italian and English confidence are mandatory. A third language is preferable (e.g. German and Russian)
High cashiering experience and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
Proven ability to meet financial targets
High willingness to develop himself/herself and the Bars´ teams members
Customer centricity, discretion, high attention to details, problem solving, punctuality, proactivity, flexibility, ability to work under pressure and team building skills are a must
Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Legal right to work in Italy
