Job Description

The opening 5-Star Resort of the international group “Hirmer Hospitality”, located in Salò on a verdant hillside overlooking the amazing Lake Garda, houses 99 guest rooms and suites and is provided with 2 Restaurants, 1 Pizzeria, 2 Bars, a Meeting room, 1 indoor and 2 outdoor swimming pools and an innovative Wellness Center & SPA of 2,000 square meters.

Our Night Auditor is in charge of providing authentic luxury experiences to our guests, demonstrating customer centricity, passion for service, guest satisfaction and team working.

Job title of direct supervisor: Front Office Manager of the Resort.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling operations of the Front Desk during the night, according to the company standards and procedures, maintaining high standards at all times
  • Welcoming Guests upon arrival, checking them in and providing them with any information they need to enjoy their stay
  • Maintaining professional relationships with Guests and Colleagues;
  • Covering several Holiday shifts
  • Anticipating Guests’ desires and needs
  • Preventing, managing and signaling Guests’ inquiries, concerns and complaints
  • Respond to Guests´ requests and emergencies
  • Responsible for cash accounting (payment of guest bills) and invoices
  • Reconciling all accounts in a timely manner
  • Assuring that all “End Of Day” work has been performed by other departments
  • Scheduling Guests´ wake-up calls and reservations for the following day
  • Answering phones and rooms/suites reservations
  • Bachelor degree in Economics / Finance / Hotellerie Management / Foreign languages
  • Minimum 2 years´ work experience preferably at a high-level Hotel in the same role
  • Cashiering experience and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Solid and proven customer service skills
  • Italian and English confidence are mandatory. A third language is required: preferably German 
  • High confidence with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Confidence with Hotel Management software such as Sihot/Protel or others is preferable
  • Customer centricity, high attention to details, problem solving, punctuality, proactivity, flexibility, team working skills and ability to fast learning and multitasking are a must
  • Ethical approach to work
  • Availability to work 5 days per week, rotating on all shifts, also on weekends and holidays
  • Legal right to work in Italy
